Farid is the Chief People Officer at MBSB Bank Berhad.

Spanning over two decades of career in different industries, Farid comes with a wealth of professional insights. In his career, he has taken on assignments in Switzerland, South Africa and the Philippines before returning home to Malaysia in 2014.

He attained an international recognition when he was conferred the “”Upcoming Personality in Islamic Finance 2017 “” award at the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) 2017 held at Kazakhstan and “CHRO of the Year” award at the World HRD Congress 2018.

Presently, he also serves as the Vice President of Malaysian Employers Federation, and strongly advocates leadership excellence initiatives for the younger generation of workforce.
