UNITAR’s Doctor in Business Administration online course is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and approved by the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
As the first university in Southeast Asia to be awarded a QS 5-star rating for online learning, students of UNITAR will experience quality online education through our online DBA course. What this means is that students will have access to professional online student services and technology, supportive student-faculty engagement as well as opportunities for coursemate and alumni interactions, among others. There is flexibility in consultation hours with supervisors based on the prior appointments made.

> Course Structure and Grading
Students can opt for either full-time or part-time study when enrolling for the online DBA programme. The duration of the study is a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years (full-time), while it’s a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 8 years (part-time).
The online postgraduate course is 100% coursework with only 5 courses to complete. In other words, there is no comprehensive examination and no final examination. The dissertation is assessed and graded with “satisfactory” or “pass”, “unsatisfactory” or “fail”, which will not be included in the CGPA calculation.
Lessons will also include doctoral seminars to provide industrial perspectives to candidates.

i. Lulus STPM dengan sekurang-kurangnya Gred C (GP 2.0) dalam mana-mana DUA mata pelajaran*; ATAU
ii. Lulus STAM dengan sekurang-kurangnya Gred Jayyid*; ATAU
iii. Matrikulasi atau Asasi dengan sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.00; ATAU
iv. Diploma (Tahap 4, MQF) dengan sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.00; ATAU
v. Diploma Lanjutan (Tahap 5, MQF) dengan sekurang-kurangnya PNGK 2.00; ATAU
vi. Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) tertakluk kepada kelulusan Senat HEP / Lembaga Akademik***; ATAU
vii. A Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) tertakluk kepada kelulusan HEP Senat / Lembaga Akademik***;
Nota untuk (vi) & (vii): PPT hendaklah menjalankan saringan dan menyediakan panduan yang diperlukan khusus kepada disiplin program. ATAU
viii. Kelayakan lain yang setaraf dengannya yang diiktiraf oleh Kerajaan Malaysia.
ix. Bagi pelajar antarabangsa, capai Band 3 minimum dalam MUET ATAU setara dengan CEFR (B2 Rendah)**.
* Syarat tambahan: Lulus dalam mata pelajaran Matematik dan Bahasa Inggeris pada peringkat SPM atau kelayakan yang setaraf dengannya.
(Keperluan mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggeris tidak terpakai kepada pelajar antarabangsa kerana mereka dikehendaki memenuhi markah tertentu peperiksaan Bahasa Inggeris antarabangsa dan diberi keistimewaan dengan pengecualian tertentu)
a. Boleh diketepikan sekiranya mana-mana kelayakan lain yang lebih tinggi mengandungi mata pelajaran Matematik dan Bahasa Inggeris dengan pencapaian yang setara/lebih tinggi.
b. Pelajar Malaysia yang menggunakan bahasa Inggeris sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam pengajian terdahulu mereka atau dengan sekurang-kurangnya Band 2 dalam MUET atau setaraf boleh dikecualikan daripada lulus dalam keperluan Bahasa Inggeris.
c. Mereka yang tidak lulus dalam mata pelajaran Matematik dan/atau Bahasa Inggeris pada peringkat SPM atau setaraf boleh diterima masuk tetapi dikehendaki menghadiri kursus peningkatan khas. Kursus-kursus peningkatan khas ini hendaklah setaraf SPM, bersifat pemulihan. Pelajar mesti lulus kursus peningkatan Matematik dan Bahasa Inggeris sebagai prasyarat kepada kursus teras berkaitan yang diajar dalam bahasa Inggeris.
