25 November 2024, Petaling Jaya, Selangor – UNITAR Education Group proudly hosted its grand 2024 Convocation Ceremony, a two-day event celebrating the achievements of over 3,500 graduates across its esteemed institutions. The ceremonies, held with great pomp and joy, marked a significant milestone for students from UNITAR International University, Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College (KLMUC), and UNITAR Colleges.

 Day 1: Honouring UNITAR International University Graduates
The first day of the convocation was dedicated to UNITAR International University, where over 2,200 graduates were conferred their degrees, marking the culmination of years of dedication and perseverance. The event was graced by the University’s Chancellor, Dato’ Mohamed Nizam Bin Tun Abdul Razak, and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Sahol Hamid Bin Abu Bakar, who presided over the ceremony.
In his address, Dato’ Mohamed Nizam congratulated the graduates on their exceptional accomplishments, emphasising the University’s commitment to producing highly employable global citizens. “You are not just graduates; you are future leaders and changemakers, equipped to tackle challenges and create meaningful impact,” he said.
Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Sahol Hamid highlighted the University’s dedication to academic excellence and innovation, applauding the graduates for their resilience in adapting to the ever-evolving educational landscape.
Day 2: Celebrating Graduates of KLMUC and UNITAR Colleges
The second day of the convocation was held to honour graduates from Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College and UNITAR Colleges, with over 1,300 students receiving their awards. The ceremony was led by the distinguished Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Sahol Hamid Bin Abu Bakar, serving as Pro-Chancellor.
Addressing the graduates, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Sahol Hamid Bin Abu Bakar praised their commitment to learning and their readiness to embrace professional challenges. “Your success reflects the ethos of UNITAR Education Group: empowering students with knowledge, skills, and values that drive societal progress,” he remarked.
The ceremony also underscored the diverse academic pathways offered by UNITAR Colleges and KLMUC, reaffirming the Group’s commitment to accessibility and quality in education.
