UNITAR Enhances Student Employability by Establishing Partnership with PayNet

Petaling Jaya – Through a strategic partnership, UNITAR International University and PayNet (Payments Network Malaysia) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) at its Main Campus in Kelana Jaya. This exclusive MoA was witnessed by UNITAR’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar and the Senior Director at Chief Executive Officer Office of PayNet Malaysia, Jun Maria Tan Abdullah.

Under this partnership, UNITAR and PayNet will work together to widen employment opportunities for students, especially within the digital finance and technology ecosystem. In addition, structured internship opportunities will be offered to enhance and improve the overall learning experience of students at the university.

Adding to the prestige of this partnership, sandboxes and labs will be established to drive collaborative learning applications as well as generate active participation in industry conferences, seminars, and forums. In typical UNITAR fashion, these initiatives are initiated to groom students into becoming monumental leaders in the industry.

UNITAR and PayNet’s partnership marks a major milestone in the university’s 26 years of experience as a leading private university in Malaysia. Students are further empowered with innovative digital offerings and mentored with state-of-the-art facilities that push them to deliver outstanding results.
