Bachelor of Management (Hons)
Bachelor of Management (Hons) introduces students to the wide body of knowledge required of future business managers. Principles of marketing, accounting and other areas such as management of human resources and cross-cultural interrelations are just some of the areas that graduates will find apply in real life managerial positions.

Programme Entry Requirements
You must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for entry to the UNITAR Bachelor's Programme:
  • Pass STPM or its equivalent with a minimum Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) subjects; and credit Mathematics and pass in English in SPM; OR
  • Pass STAM with Grade Jayyid and credit Mathematics and pass in English in SPM; OR
  • Pass Matriculation/ Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit Mathematics and pass in English in SPM;  OR
  • Pass Diploma in ‘Finance’, ‘Banking’, ‘Insurance’ or related program (Level 4, MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
  • Pass BTEC Level 4 & 5 and pass SPM with at least three (3) credits in any subjects (or its equivalent); OR
  • Any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government;  
  • Applicants into the Bachelor’s programmes (level 6, MQF) through APEL, must be a Malaysian citizen aged more than 21 years of age in the year of application with relevant work experience/prior experiential learning and passed APEL assessment.

LOCAL STUDENTS

Malaysian students who enroll in UNITAR Bachelor programmes must fulfill the following English proficiency requirements:
  • Students who have a distinction in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are not required to take additional English courses.
  • Students who have credit in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to take additional English courses. (Refer to the table below for placement purposes.)
  • Students who do not have a credit in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to take the English Enhancement Programme before registering for their Faculty courses. (An internal assessment could be arranged with the HOD Language and General Studies.)
  • Students from a different institution are required to apply for exemption if they studied any English courses. (Students are encouraged to attach the syllabus of the courses they have taken in the previous instituition.)
