The Diploma in Animation Design is designed to provide skills of animation and design expertise to work in the multimedia industry. Develop creative skills in the use of the most elegant tools. Understand of the principles and development of the team projects for industry and apply the skills in real world practice.

Multimedia nowadays is a high potential in all industry. It is a relatively popular field, and there is a need for specialized multimedia courses.
This course is on 100% project-based, hands-on training, with students working in teams for assigned clients to produce comprehensive industry-standard products.
It develops students as a Animation Design expertise that can effectively be responsible for handling all hardware and software used in multimedia field.

Programme Entry Requirements
You must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for entry to the UNITAR Diploma Programme :
  • Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent with at least 3 credits; OR
  • Recognised Creative Multimedia Certificate or equivalent;  OR
  • Recognised related Technical and Vocational Certificate or equivalent with one year related working experiences OR one semester bridging programme;  OR
  • Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 and pass SPM with minimum 1 credit

Malaysian students who enroll in UNITAR Bachelor programmes must fulfill the following English proficiency requirements:
  • Students who have a distinction in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are not required to take additional English courses.
  • Students who have credit in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to take additional English courses. (Refer to the table below for placement purposes.)
  • Students who do not have a credit in English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to take the English Enhancement Programme before registering for their Faculty courses. (An internal assessment could be arranged with the HOD Language and General Studies.)
  • Students from a different institution are required to apply for exemption if they studied any English courses. (Students are encouraged to attach the syllabus of the courses they have taken in the previous instituition.)
