Diploma in Hotel Management opens the doors to employment across many areas in the hotel industry, including front office and housekeeping operations, food and beverage services, and customer relations. This programme aims to ensure that students acquire the many skills and supporting knowledge necessary to operate a small business or run a large chain of hotels.

Programme Entry Requirements
You must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for entry to the UNITAR Diploma Programme:
  • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent, with at least credit in three (3) subjects;  OR
  • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least one (1) credit and level 3 Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia; OR
  • Any other certificate or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government;  OR
  • Diploma’s program (level 5, MQF) through APEL. Applicants must be a Malaysian citizen aged more than 20 years of age in the year of application with relevant work experience/ prior experiential learning and passed APEL assessment.
