Why this course

Our Diploma in Information Technology is designed to produce ICT professionals who are capable of new technology innovations. Students will learn programming and software development skills to meet the growing demands of today’s ICT industry.

The programme teaches important aspects of system programming, graphical user interfaces, object-oriented programming, database design and management as well as system analysis. Students will gain exposure to software development techniques, web application development and programming languages ​​such as JAVA, C#, C ++, .NET and XML. 

Graduates will gain a comprehensive understanding of the skills, principles and techniques related to Software Engineering with insights on how to select the most appropriate application practices in software design, development or management based on a specific situation.

It will also develop smart, diligent and competent IT professionals who can contribute significantly to the Malaysian Information and Communication Technology sector.

Course information

  • A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least a credit in three (3) subjects (INCLUDING Mathematics subject credits);
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Pengajian Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum grade of C (GP 2.0) in any subject; INCLUDING pass SPM with credit in Mathematics subject;
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (passed); INCLUDING pass SPM with credit in Mathematics subject;
  • A certificate (Level 3, MQF)  in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; INCLUDING pass SPM with credit in Mathematics subject;
